soon&early&quickly

Soon、early” 和 “quickly” 是非常容易被混淆的一组副词。它们虽然都和 “快” 有关，但意思和用法是完全不同的。

“Soon” 用来谈论某事会在从现在开始算起的不久后发生，意思是 “很快，不久”。

I’ll see you soon! In about five minutes.

The film is starting soon – hurry up or we’ll miss the start!

“Early” 用来谈论某事在预期时间前发生，意思是 “较早，提前，提早”。

I had to go to work early because I had a meeting.

If you get up early, you can go for a run.

“Quickly” 用来谈论某事快速地发生、进行，或某个动作迅速地完成，意思是 “迅速地，很快地”。

We’re late. We need to walk quickly!

I’m so excited! He replied to my text very quickly.
